You can now override the Outage Management System (OMS) values for the Total Outage count and Total Customers Affected count, allowing you to portray real-time situations accurately, especially during storm scenarios. Experience peace of mind with strategic Alerts scheduling. Our latest update lets you schedule the Alerts banner to display a specific message at a specified time – simply set it, and the system takes care of the rest. Finally, elevate your customer experience with the enhanced customer-centric feature that lets you launch the map centered around your customers’ current location, minimizing clicks to access relevant information.
New Features
Override Total Customers Affected and Total Outages Fields With More Accurate Values
The Area Manager tool for Storm Center now allows you to override the Total Customers Affected and Total Outages fields. You can either set the overrides manually within Area Manager or via an API call.

Time your Communication Right with Scheduled Alerts
Recognizing your need for flexibility, we’ve introduced a feature that lets you schedule alert messages for future display on the Map. In the Control Center, simply set a Scheduled Start Time and Scheduled End Time when creating your alerts. This ensures your desired message will display on the map precisely when you want it to.
No Scheduled Start Time yet? No worries. While the alert message will not show on the Map, it will display in the list of Alert Messages available to be deployed.

Enhance User Experience: Storm Center Map Can Now Open Centered Around Customers’ Location
Previously, customers had to take an extra step to reach their location when they opened a Storm Center map. At KUBRA, ensuring an optimal user experience for both you and your customers is our top priority. Now, you can choose to configure your Storm Center map to open centered around your customers’ location. To use this feature, simply enable it in the configuration.

Release Details
- Production Date: The new features are available for all Storm Center 5 clients starting 7th December, 2023.
- Type: Automatic - This update will not disrupt any current implementations. Existing configurations will be maintained.

- This update will not affect any items configured for Storm Center maps.
