Release Items
A New Payment Cart (Automatic)
With this new version we have integrated a “shopping cart” functionality into the payment flow. The shopping cart, which we are calling the Payment Cart, will allow customers to easily organize and pay multiple items (accounts, invoices, etc.) all at once while still comfortably supporting our single item customers. The cart also allows us to better support the Direct Landing and Invoice-Based features without requiring a separate payment flow. The end result is a unified payment experience for all supported features of KUBRA EZ-PAY.
Recurring Payments in the US (Optional)
KUBRA EZ-PAY Smart Payments (AutoPay) can now be activated for service fee-based payments in the United States. This can be easily supported through AMEX, MasterCard, Discover, and PIN-less debit cards, however, Visa is not allowed unless the biller has obtained a waiver. Visa requires that the biller apply for an exemption waiver that would allow recurring payments to be processed when including a service fee. Please contact your KUBRA Relationship Manager for more details.
New KUBRA EZ-PAY Domain (Automatic)
We are introducing a new domain to house KUBRA EZ-PAY. The new URL will be “ez-pay.io”. As in the current configuration billers will be provided an individual landing URL that will include their assigned Biller ID to identify which biller to load.
Notes:
- Please update any links that point to KUBRA EZ-PAY with the new URL as soon as possible. We will continue to forward activity from the legacy URL to the new URL. This will be retired in the future but more communication will be sent.
User Interface (UI) Improvements (Automatic)
Improving upon the latest release, we have taken your feedback and applied a few more updates to the UI. The new UI improves the payment flow and integrates the various new features such as the revised landing page, Payment Cart, donations, multiple payment types, direct landing and more. The overall experience has only changed slightly so the new UI will not impact customers negatively and require them to learn a whole new flow.

Shared Wallet and Sign In (Optional)
For larger organizations with multiple divisions or companies controlled under a parent company, we now support the option to share a single login and wallet between multiple touchpoints where KUBRA EZ-PAY can act as an identity provider (IDP). The feature will allow customers to use a single login and shared wallet in the KUBRA EZ-PAY Payment Center as well as any separate service providers such as a KUBRA iDoxs Suite site. The KUBRA EZ-PAY Payment Center will provide a single location to process one-time payments for all of the child accounts and provide all of the required security and verification.
Third-party IDP Support (Optional)
By default, KUBRA EZ-PAY will act as the IDP for the parent and child relationships. We also support third-party identity providers with this version. Using your existing secure portal you can now allow consumers to pass directly into the Payment Center, one-time payment flow, and any child biller-direct sites. This allows for easy access and the use of the Payment Center wallet throughout the organization.
