Overview

With this release, the DocWeb team will introduce two enhanced audit reports:

  • Address Correction (AC)
  • National Change of Address (NCOA)

The AC and NCOA audit reports allow clients to update addresses maintained within their own systems based on the address cleansing and auditing done while their billing data is processed through KUBRA. These reports can be downloaded from the DocWeb Job Details interface, posted to FTP (implementation required), or sent via email when a user signs up to receive the eReports.

Enhanced AC and NCOA Audit Reports

These improved audit reports were created as a result of client feedback asking for more information and file formats than the existing reports. To answer this, we enhanced the reports with the following:

New File Formats

We have added the following new formats:

  • CSV
  • XML
  • JSON

These additional formats are more desirable than the existing text formats for uploading into our clients’ systems to help them correct addresses.

New AC Audit Report Fields

The AC audit reports provide information related to the verification and correction of customer addresses, including:

  • Addresses verified as correct
  • Addresses that were corrected
  • Addresses that were invalid and could not be corrected

In addition to the new formats, client feedback inspired the DocWeb team to add several new fields to the AC audit reports. The existing AC audit report only has ERR_STAT, ACCNO, SOLDTO, SOLDTO2, SOLDTO3, and SOLDTO4 as fields, whereas the enhanced reports have the following fields to provide clients with as much information as possible:

  • JobId
  • AccountNo
  • DateProcessed
  • OriginalSoldTo
  • OriginalSoldTo2
  • OriginalSoldTo3
  • OriginalSoldTo4
  • OriginalSoldTo5

New NCOA Audit Report Fields

The NCOA audit reports provide information related to addresses that are verified and updated when registered with the USPS for a change of address.

In addition to the new formats, client feedback inspired the DocWeb team to add several new fields to the NCOA audit reports. The existing NCOA audit report only has Account #, Original Address, and New Address as fields, whereas the enhanced reports have the following fields to provide clients with as much information as possible:

  • JobId
  • AccountNo
  • DateProcessed
  • OriginalSoldTo
  • OriginalSoldTo2
  • OriginalSoldTo3
  • OriginalSoldTo4
